Forum Cleaning and Changes to Auto-Prune

The forum staff will be deleting inactive RPs and OOCs over the remainder of the year. All non-archived threads will be removed unless people request to have them saved. You can do so here for Group RPs and here for 1x1s. Please note the dates below as only certain threads are eligible for being saved. This announcement to allow people to make requests for threads that can be saved and to back up anything they want from the threads that won't.

On August 8th, week from this Saturday all threads with 0 replies will be deleted. These will not be saved.

OOCs that never had an IC will be deleted at the end of August, no matter how many posts/bios it had. These will only be saved if the GM wants it moved to the active OOC section to try again.

ICs with less than 5 pages will be deleted at the end of September. They can be saved by request. OOCs that have their ICs deleted will be removed as well.

All ICs that have not been previously archived will be deleted at the end of the year. They can be saved by request. Again, OOCs that have their ICs deleted will be removed.

We will also be making changes to the auto-prune. ICs will be given 60 days before being considered inactive (up from 45). OOCs will no longer be pruned automatically. OOCs will be moved to inactive forum by a mod or admin when the corresponding IC goes inactive or at the request of the GM if there is no IC. Inactive threads will be deleted following the timetable above (one week for no replies, one month for less than five pages, 120 days for over five pages). OOCs will be deleted alongside their ICs.

Phase one of the forum clean up is complete. Phase two will start on September 1st. Save your bios.

Reminder! Any OOCs without a corresponding IC will be deleted starting next Tuesday. We will not be saving any of these. Make sure to save anything you want from those threads. I will not tolerate any whining on the matter. You have all been warned.
