The Lost Angel

There is a lost girl in the world
Can you see her? I can
Standing alone,
Wondering what she did wrong.
To make mommy yell,
to make daddy leave.
To be left here in the dark.
There is a lost angel in the sky.
Can you see her? I can
Her wings billowing around her,
Tears are flowing down her face.
The light no longer shines,
the world no longer sees,
The broken hearted
There is a lost puppy, in the rain
Can you see him? I can
Shivering in the dark,
Cold, and hungry.
Wanting a home,
and somebody to love him
Why are we all so blind?
Can't we see those 'round us?
The less fortunate,
The poor, the broken.
Why do we just stand there,
when the little girl cries,
or the puppy needs a home?
Who will make the first move?
There are some lost souls in this world.
Can you see them?

Looked down from a broken sky
Traced out by the city lights
My world from a mile high
Best seat in the house tonight
Touched down on the cold black top
Hold on for the sudden stop
Breath in the familiar shock
Of confusion and chaos
All those people going somewhere,
Why have I never cared?

Lol, just learned how to play it on the guitar even though I've known it for years. Its actualy really easy.
