Jordyn was sure she was going insane.

She blinked and uneasily stood to her feet, wobbling like a newborn deer. She braced herself against a cool wall, the room spinning like there was no end. She gave up and fell to her knees, grasping her splitting head. There was a voice inside of her. It said something, it sounded like it was her thoughts.... but it wasn't. It was something else. Something sentient. And it was inside of her brain.

"Welcome," It had greeted. It pointed out the clothing in the center of the room and told her to dress in it, informing her she wouldn't come out until she did.

She was damned if she was getting into something that looked like it came off the set from Star Trek.

After an hour of relentless silence, her stomach growled obnoxiously. She suddenly wished she hadn't gone on that stupid celery diet. What she wouldn't give for a cheeseburger right now...

She eyed that stupid jumpsuit nervously. She crawled towards it on all fours and picked it up. Shyly, she looked over her shoulder before she took off her shirt and jeans and put them to the side. She was about to slide her leg through the pants part when the voice spoke up again.

"Remove everything," It ordered. A blush crossed her cheeks and she shook her head no, scooting far away from the uniform.

A few hours later, her hunger won and she stripped to her birthday suit. The cloth was soft and cold, as well as very comfortable against her bare skin. As soon as she zipped it up, a sliding door opened. Trepidation sunk into her skin and she tiptoed out the door, looking around. Everything was so bright. She felt like she stuck out like a sore thumb against the hand-painted artwork on the walls.

She was unsure where to go. As if reading her thoughts, a man appeared out of nowhere.

"Oh thank God! I don't know how I got here, I was just walking into my apartment and-- where's your pinky?!" She asked, gawking. It wasn't like an amputee, where you could still see the joint it was attached to. Rather, his other fingers looked bigger to make up for the loss of his smallest one.

He didn't speak a word, only took out a long needle. Jordyn's eyes widened and she turned around to run away, only to be confronted by another pinky-less person.

"Stay still," Said a new voice. It was inside of her head again but seemed to be owned by someone else. Jordyn's panic didn't allow her to follow that order. She screamed and bit and kicked until the familiar feeling of her flesh breaking overwhelmed her. The fluid from the syringe rushed into her veins. A powerful sense of relaxation made her go limp, her eyes too heavy to keep open.

At the head of the table, there was someone else. It looked like they were out cold. She willed her mouth to move but it just seemed to heavy and too hard. She licked her lips.

"Hey," She croaked, her voice a little more than a whisper. She cleared her throat and tried again, "Hey," She said a bit louder. She wiggled in her seat, "Wake up!" was about to slide her leg through the pants part when the voice spoke up again.

"I will do as you ask, O princess." She said as she bowed to the royal in front of her.

Without warning her view was shifted to something new. A voice in her head told her to strip, "Wh-Who's there!?" She called.

No reply.

"Answer me!"

No reply.

She sighed and folded her arms, "If Lord Link finds out about this..." She muttered.

"He won't." the voice stated, "Now remove everything."

"Never!" She stated, "Not until you show yourselves!"

No reply... Eventually her hunger won out and she reluctantly removed her clothes. The jumpsuit was foreign to her but she now understood what was wanted of ehr and she struggled to put it on, eventually succeeding.

She looked lost until someone approached. their bodies were slightly different to what people were to her eyes. A needle was seen in her eyes, "Wh-What are you-?" She started. A new voice told ehr to stay still but she ignored it. She tried to flee all too late. The needle pierced her skin and Seldea slowly succumbed to it's effects.

When consciousness returned she heard a female voice urging her to awaken. Her eyes slowly awakened and a groan emitted, "Wh-where... am I?" She asked slowly. So many foods were there but none were from her place of origin, "What's happened?"

"I don't know," Jordyn replied to the strange looking woman. She definitely wasn't human. Then again, neither were those men in the hall. Add that to the voice she heard in her head... well, Jordyn was positive she was certifiable.

To the second question, Jordyn wanted to reply that she didn't know, but once again the words refused to come out of her mouth. Instead, she bitterly said, "We're at a party." It was a ridiculous lie but she couldn't help it. Her honest answer was lost in her throat long before she even thought it.

She took a second to look around. The walls were painted again. This time, it seemed to have an abstract theme. The bright colors and the mishapped shapes burned her eyeballs so she blinked and looked away from the strange wall. She craned her neck to look as far behind her she could see. It all seemed to have the same theme. The dizzying, crazy colors and the strange looking patterns.

"We have to get out of here!" Jordyn said, struggling again. The chair bobbed up and down from her efforts. She heard a shuffling of feet and screamed as she noticed the pinky-less person from before. He had a pair of blood red eyes that looked evil and soul consuming. Gulping, she shrank into her chair.

"Eat," He ordered to the both of them. He said it without moving his lips! Jordyn had to recover from her shock quickly and raised up her hands to show that they were bound. The man fiddled with something in his pocket until the rope from their wrists to the arm of the chair stretched far enough to allow her movement.

"Eat," He repeated. Jordyn eyed the food suspiciously. The man grabbed a biscuit and took a bite, swallowing it and showing his empty mouth to the both of them.

"Eat," He said for the third time, demonstrating how the center of the table rotated to allow them access to the food. With that, he left the room, leaving them alone.

Jordyn's stomach grumbled in protest. She looked up pitifully at her fellow hostage, "I'm too hungry to say no," She admitted, mainly to herself. She began to scoop various items onto her plate, casting an apprehensive glance at the woman across the table.

"We'll get out of here," Jordyn assured her, "We have to. We'll get out and get the police and they'll tear this place apart. I'm sure even the President would get involved!"

Seldea was confused, "Police? President?" She sighed, "What kind of sorcery is this... none of this is akin to Twili Magic..." She muttered as she started to eat some of the food, "I have to get back..."

Jordyn blinked. Maybe she was from some sort of third world country? But she didn't sound uneducated or anything.

"Um... police? The people who make arrests? Catch bad guys? Bang bang, boom boom?" Jordyn said, confusion lacing her voice, "President? United States of America? North America? Atlantic Ocean? Earth?"

"Doesn't ring a bell," Seldea admitted, "I only know of Hyrule and the Twilight Realm, the latter being my home. Do you know of Lord Link, a Heroic Hyrulian who removed the usurper to the Twilight Princess' throne?"

Jordyn blinked. The word "Earth" didn't ring a bell to her? But she spoke English. It didn't make any sense. And who the heck was Link?

Jordyn leaned back in her chair, processing slowly, "Um, no... I've never heard of any of those things," She replied. She looked around thoughtfully. Men without pinkies... the Star Trek uniforms... the different looking girl sitting across from her.

"Holy shit!" Jordyn suddenly exclaimed, "You're an alien! They're aliens! I'm in some sort of alien hideout place!" She started to panic, rocking back and forth in her chair, "They're going to put a probe up my butt just like old man Jensen!" She said, beginning to hyperventilate.

"Calm, human," Said a voice in her head. Jordyn froze, eyes widened with fright. The same man from before emerged from out of nowhere, coming to the two women. He had another person with him, this one with eyes the color of dirt. In their hands, there was cloth. It looked like the same material used to make their flight suits.

"We will escort you to your rooms," The words were said out loud by the brown eyed one; his voice was hoarse. One of them went to Jordyn and the other to the Twili. The man with red eyes fiddled with something and the binds came loose. Jordyn readied to attack but was too slow, the cloth in his hands seemed to come alive and wrap itself around her forearm to her wrist.

"They all wish to escape at first," Said the brown eyed one. He seemed a bit wistful, as if he wasn't actually talking to anyone.

"Whaddya mean at first?" Jordyn asked, perturbed by the idea of someone actually wanting to stay. The speaker remained silent, making her ever more uneasy.

The cloth expanded, giving the two men a sort of leash. Despite her longing to escape, the effect of the drug made her movements sluggish and walking difficult. She cast an apprehensive glance at her fellow captive. She mouthed the words, "Don't worry," to her and dragged her feet along.

Their rooms weren't too far away from the dining room. She assumed that maybe this was the quarters for all the captives... if there were others. The walls were painted like the ancient Chinese, the too-ovular heads and the snakelike dragons.

Their room consisted of two single sized beds, a dresser (for what, she was unsure, since all her clothes were back home), a door to the left led to the bathroom and shower. A full length mirror hung in between the two beds.

The human and Twili were shoved into their room and the door slid behind them, melting into the wall.

Jordyn cursed.

She started to fiddle with the cloth on her hands, "Help me get this off. I'm going to blast us out of here. My name's Jordyn, by the way, what's yours?"

"I'm Seldea," The Twili replied, "Let me try something first," She said pulling on her race's shadow magic, "Try not to flinch back!" she warned as a ball of shadows formed in her hand it shot towards the cloth and... bounced off, failing to do anything, "What the!? Breaking of Bonds can break through steel chains, but not a simple cloth!?" She muttered to herself.

She looked down and sighed, "Damn..." She muttered before turning to her fellow captive, "Jordyn... I'm not an 'alien', whetever they are. I'm a Twili. In fact... I'm one of many messangers Princess Midna uses to send messages from the palace to the various towns," She then sighed, "You look like a hyrulian but you can't be one... your ears are too short."

Jordyn looked at the Twili. She could use magic too!

"Um, I'm a human," Jordyn replied, "Most humans have little ears..."

Just then, there was a shift in the wall and a door emerged. It opened and two men came through. Jordyn guessed they were different, judging by their eye color.

"Twili, come with us," Said the one in a similarly hoarse voice.

Seldea took a step back, "Wh-Why?" She asked. She wasn't going to deny them... she just wanted to know what was going on.

"We must preserve history," Was the gasping whisper, "Come..." With an added thought, "Please."

She gulped and looked to her felow captive mouthing, "Help!" before reluctantly following the strange being.

Jordyn tried to argue as her newfound friend was taken away but the wall shut behind them, making any idea of arguing useless. Jordyn sighed and sat on the bed, watching the wall in hopes she would return soon.

Seldea was brought into a plush room, not something one would expect. It had a comfortable looking couch and a few chairs, as well as a writing desk with some sort of machine. It looked like it could have been a computer of some sorts.

"Please, sit," The researcher mentally said to the Twili, "Would you like anything to drink?"

The twili sat down but simply said, "Something to calm my stomach would be preferred... I'm... not used to the foods outside the Twilight Realm..." A drink was passed to her that contained an odd substance. She looked at them before drinking it, feeling the relief already.

"Alright... so you said you wanted to preserve history... why do you need me?"

"Questions." Came the mental reply. she shrugged and stated, "Fire away then."

"We need to know about what you are." Was the first question.

"We're the Twili. Our origins are... actually a little lost to even out ancestors. Blurring of time in the Twilight realm an' all. We're skilled in Shadow Magic and are currently ruled by Princess Midna." She replied offhandedly, "The physical characteristics..." She managed not to let her blush show at the thought of having to bear her naked body, "It's likely you, or another, have already seen them."

There was tapping on the machine, as the being appeared to be making a note of what she said, "And recent events?"

"Most recent events of note would be traitor Zant usurping the throne through the power of a man called Ganondorf. After obtaining help from Lord Link, a Hyrulian who was able to shift into the form of a wolf, She reclaimed her throne, killing Zant ane eventually aiding Lord Link in killing Ganondorf." She stated.

"Do you know anything else about these Hyrulians."

"I do not. When her majesty returned from hyrule for the last time she severed the only known link between the Twilight Realm and Hyrule. Any knowledge about Hyrule will have to come from one native to that place."

"What do you know of this 'Link' being?"

"Lord Link is considered a hero of the Twili. He's a Hyrulian, I know not his origins, that was guided to the Twilight Realm by Her Majesty, Princess Midna. After recovering the Sols, the Twilight Realm's sources of light, he aided her Majesty in reclaiming her throne and the ancient magics, the Fused Shadows, from him. That's all I know. I also know that the Twili are forbidden to speak about Zant or Ganondorf more than I have already."

"And Midna?"

"I am but a messanger for Her Majesty. I know only her name her position and her look, the third I have been asked not to speak of. She is kind in manner and, unlike previous monarchs, is researching a way to make a new link between the two realms that prevents Zant's mistakes from happening again. To know more, you'd have to ask one of her hand maidens."

"And the Twilight Realm?"

"I am forbidden to talk about it. I'm but a simple messanger. Talking to a noble about it would prove more fruitful."

There was a special annotation where it said "Forbidden to speak of". If one followed the footnote, they'd see it was marked with "Prepare Twili with serum before questioning". With a tight lipped, slightly scary smile, the researcher rose and motioned for someone to come forward. Not one to be denied, a man dressed in bright white stepped towards the Twili.

"Back to your room to rest," Explained the man, sending the message telepathically, "We will remove the bonds when you arrive."

(Mech, if you'd like to, you can bunny going to the room and having her bonds removed)

"Alright." She said, following silently back to the room and having her bonds removed upon arrival. She sat down on one of the beds and sighed, "Never had so many questions thrown at me in my life..." She said disdainfully, "I try to make things quick and they drag it out... Ugh... At least the beast gem is fine."

Jordyn had some time to relax and adjust to the idea of being stuck.

With aliens.

And cloth that was alive.

Seldea came in and Jordyn sighed in relief. The wall shimmered and closed the doorway behind. The cloth around their hands wiggled and fell off. It then slid underneath the wall and out of their sights.

"Questions?" Jordyn asked, "That's all they wanted from you?"

"They wanted to know about my people, the Twili, and what had hapened recently... They tried to get info about things I'm forbidden to talk about... but because of the prohibition I know next to nothing about such topics."

"Oh, well, that's not too bad," Jordyn said, surprised. She leaned back and let her head rest against the wall. Opposite of them, there was a shimmering and two men stepped forward, each with a set of clothes and slippers.

"Rest now," Was the order. They set it down and stepped out.

"I feel like they think they're some sort of whacko hotel service," Jordyn said with a snort, getting up and grabbing one of the sets, "Did you want to shower first or will I?"

(Just to let you know, the researchers have transported some of your characters things, mainly bathroom stuff)

Seldea shook her head, "You go ahead. I need some time to think some things through."
