The Inn-OOC Empty

The Inn
An open-ended RP for those that need some time away from home, or just a place to stay. We serve all types, even the fiercest eldritch creatures.

The Inn. It's always been more of a myth, with little more than word of mouth accounts and second hand stories to prove it’s existence. Every account of it has been supposed eye witness accounts, none of which can be proven. I can tell you the Inn is real enough. It appears in different places all at once, and yet not at all. Sometimes it's there, sometimes it's not. It's real though, and it's magnificent. You see, the inn is sort of a place beyond the planes, beyond time, with it's own little pocket dimension, it’s own little piece of existence. The buildings you see on the street, the pubs and restaurants and things, are merely doorways to the actual place which resides well beyond the rules of time and space. You can find many patrons here from a multitude of different realms, universes, planes, and whatever else type of place someone could be from. Welcome, good patron, to the Inn.

That's the intro. Now a bit of OOC discussion The main point of the RP is open ended character interaction.. I don't plan on there being any overarching plot. It's mostly just character interaction. Drop in with one character, have a beer, say hello, exit and come back if you want. Or change character and start a bar fight. Play some music for the crowd with a hat for donations. Get drunk and lose some clothes. Hit on the waitresses or other patrons. That sort of thing. Bios are in no way mandatory. This is a plug and play RP. Just keep in mind, if you don’t post a bio, please be as descriptive as possible to allow for other RPers to be able to describe your character well enough to interact with them.

Characters involved in the Inn:

Garsed Hyuiop: A God, the Inn is part of his chosen domain. The building is nearly alive, and answers to his will since it is an extension of it. He knows almost all that goes on in it, and what he doesn’t know he can easily find out. His power is unmatched in the Inn, and whatever he says can quickly become a reality as long as it stays within his domain. (Changing characters does not.) His daughters hold a limited amount of power inside the Inn, which can be extended or limited by his will.

Gorlack the Terrible: An old, aggressive orc warlord who became indentured to Garsed, and later sacrificed by followers of the god, he now works as a bartender in the Inn. He hates his job, but loves telling war stories.

Gelen the Dancer: An elven bard who dedicated his life to Garsed’s aspects, he was later risen to sainthood by Garsed when he died defending a most famous brothel from bandits. He serves as bartender, bard, escort for hire, and all sorts of other things if the whim strikes him.

Daughters of Garsed: Garsed’s daughters are the waitresses of the Inn. They rotate out and constantly give different names to different patrons. There are eight in total, with four working at any given time in the Inn. All are minor goddesses in their own right and have powers within the Inn, as well as other aspects that are applicable to only them.
Other characters may be added as this RP progresses and the Inn gets more fleshed out through interaction.

Rules of the Inn, as set by Garsed Hyuiop, God of Revelry, Relaxation, a Good Night's Rest, and Debauchery, owner and proprietor of the Inn.

1. The Inn will not accept any form of payment for any services rendered.

2. Respect the Innkeeper and his rules, or face the wrath of your bar tab.

3. The Inn is not responsible for any bodily harm due to bar fights.

4. Any fights in the Inn that last for more than two minutes must either be taken outside, or be dealt with by the Innkeeper, who will utilize great prejudice when concluding them.

5. Respect the Inn and it's property or face it's wrath.

6. Please refrain from harassing the bartender and the serving wenches with words and/or touches.

7. Any and all weapons must be left in the weapon depository box next to the coat and hat rack at the front of the inn.

I don't think I'm missing anything, so please, enjoy yourselves.
