Name: Alma “Ally” Inez Rivera
Age: 16 years old
Gender: Female
Appearance: Ally’s body is petite and compact, yet manages to retain a lot of energy (as seen by her constant twitching and moving about). Her height, about five feet four inches last she checked, is something she takes pride in as most of her family members are shorter than her. She is also slim yet fit and curvy, as she often takes care of her body. Unlike her family again, she has an olive skin tone (a little on the lighter side) which tends to set her apart from her heritage and confuse others unless they hear her name. This skin even tends to give off a glow when she is storing energy, though some may not think too much of it.  Ally appears youthful, with a rounded face and large, light brown eyes. Her hair, swept to the right of her face and layered, is chocolate brown for the most part, with maroon (near purple) tips. It isn’t very long, as she prefers it to be shoulder length.
Her wardrobe is vast, and usually expands whenever she gets the chance to visit the thrift shop. She has a variety of “costumes,” thought up for when she feels like getting into character. But usually, when not invested in acting, she tends to wear frilly, ruffled shirts and skirts (they are skorts though), rompers, and cute dresses. Her colors gravitate towards bright, happy colors (pinks, reds, bright purples, light blues), few dark colors mixed in.
Main Power: Energy Absorption & Projection: Energy in the form of heat, electricity, radiance, or chemical energy can be absorbed and used. Ally’s energy levels are maintained at equilibrium, only varying up and down depending on her food intake (that would be chemical). But when she takes in more energy, her energy levels spike. That extra energy can be released in waves as attacks, as the power behind her punch or in her running, or concentrated into constructs for short amounts of time. She cannot use up all her energy, however, since she has a base line that keeps her walking and awake. When angered, she loses control over the energy and tends to use up all of her energy, causing her to pass out after use.
Secondary Power: Aura Manipulation: This is a self-oriented ability. With this, she can conceal or reveal her aura. When concealing, she is still visible but just unnoticeable. Unless she is seen by someone who knows her well or speaks to an outsider, she will stay a part of the crowd. When revealing it, she can become the center of attention and distract many people. This doesn’t mean they will flock to her, but they will only be able sense her presence. If she chooses to start a fight when revealing the aura, more people will watch in her general area.
Strengths: Good at putting on an act, making disguises, flexibility (gymnastics- vault), free-running, giving people a hard time, speaking her mind, concealing herself.
Weaknesses: She is not physically strong (in the sense that she can’t combat people hand-to-hand), if she doesn’t store up energy first she isn’t very useful in combat, is usually hungry, can’t hold her tongue, doesn’t know her own limits.
Likes: Cute things, being around people, theater, free-running and parkour, poetry (Pablo Neruda and Langston Hughes), switching between characters, dressing up, attention, helping others (or at least attempting to).
Dislikes: Scary/Gross things, studying the subjects she likes least, rude/mean people, those who are unloyal to their friends, cloudy days, Edgar Allen Poe (his works are too creepy).
Extracurricular activities: Drama club and gymnastics
Personality: Alma likes to lead a dramatic, exciting life, always staying away from the norm. She depends heavily on attention and friends, keeping many people close to her and always trying to pay attention to them back. She is never afraid to tell people her opinion or just tell them they are cruel human beings. Always up for adventures and exploration, she can also seem a tad nosy. Alma also likes to give herself her own special time, seen through free-running and frequent poetry-reading. She is sensitive and takes criticism very personally. But she doesn’t like to show it, as she is a performer and feels the need to put on appearances.
History: Ever since she was young, Alma has always been vivacious and bright. She was accepted and loved greatly by her Mexican family, consisting of her parents and two siblings (an older sister and younger brother). Though never the top student, she was a brilliant actor and loved to perform in front of her family and friends.
In middle school, she was encouraged to join the school plays and did just so, scoring great roles. Because of her loving, vibrant personality, she drew people toward her and made friends with many cast members. One of them became her closest friend, Chloe. Yet, Chloe was not very well-liked by other cast members. Alma did not notice the bullying, busy with the stage work and applying to top private high schools. By the week of the show, she was accepted into a top choice and managed to tell Chloe. But the whole two months had built up on her poor friend, who had relied on Alma for support. She broke down and left the theater, found the next morning dead by overdosing. Alma couldn’t perform in that show, causing the cancellation while they mourned.
She never stopped blaming herself, sending her into a downward spiral. Skipping school days to just go to the park, distancing herself from many people, she tried to get her mind off her mistake. She began to try parkour and exercise, but that didn’t help very much. With all this, her powers began to awaken without her knowing, causing her energy levels to spike as she stayed in the sun. Alma finally, after skipping so many days, decided to settle the score with the bullies, the cast members who had caused Chloe’s death. But that was a huge accident, as Alma’s angered triggered her to unleash her energy and sending the kids to the hospital. She was also rushed in, as she fainted. As she recovered in the hospital and people asked her questions, she received a letter from Excelsior to join the school. Wanting a fresh start, she was admitted and enrolled.


Name: Falyn "Fall" Lancaster
Age: 15 years.
Gender: Female
Appearance: Fall is not very impressive at first sight. She's about five feet three inches in height (she hopes she has grown at least one inch since the last check up) with an average weight. She doesn't have any outstanding features that anyone notices immediately; she looks normal in the curves department (something she cares very little for) and is perfectly scar-free on the little skin that she chooses to show. Her legs are a little spindly, though she can run like any other person. Knobby legs and elbows, she looks an awful lot like your typical nerd. But upon closer inspection, you can notice interesting qualities that may be surprising. For example, Falyn has muscular arms from boxing, making her less of a wimp. Secondly, she has faint scars around her hips and on her upper thighs, hidden from sight by layers of clothing. Lastly, her hands are rough despite smooth skin everywhere else on her body. This is due to her hands-on work during robotics as she is dedicated to creating parts for competition. Her face is a subtle oval shape, her features soft and cute. A small nose is sprinkled with freckles, a few of those spots spread out under her eyes as well. Her lips are pink and thin, usually drawn in a tight line in concentration. Her almond-shaped eyes are deep, ocean blue, seen as reflective as she is fequently in thought. These are framed by rectangular glasses, always seen on her face because she doesn't like contacts and she is as blind as a bat without the glasses. Finally, Fall's waist-length hair is a dirty blonde color with natural highlights, seen as a messy all the time because of the girl's lack of consideration for her appearance. It's wavy and a bit frizzy, her bangs often in disarray even when she pushes them out of the way.
Now, Falyn's wardrobe is not very stylish nor does it accentuate any assets she may have. For one, she always wears these red high top sneakers and almost nothing else. Occasionally she will wear regular sneakers, but it is only when she is worried that the weather will ruin her other shoes. She also doesn't wear anything shorter than her knees in length; never has anyone seen her in a dress or skirt. If she does wear something a little on the short side, a pair of black leggings can be found underneath. One outfit she wears frequently is a pair of light denim overall shorts with leggings underneath, either a tight, plain black or white t-shirt under it or a loose, off the shoulder, long sleeve shirt. A second outfit she tends to wear are a pair of overly baggy (dark denim) jeans with one of her t-shirts, a belt tightened around her hips to keep her pants from falling. For boxing, she has a tank top and a pair of sweatpants. Oversized sweaters are her go-to for the colder weather.
Main Power: Supernatural Voice: Falyn is capable of singing well, but putting too much emotion into it can cause people to feel certain things; rage, exhaustion, exuberance, sadness, etc. This depends on the song and tone of her voice. Also, the people it affects depends on the volume. A larger crowd will be under the spell through speakers asnd microphones. But this power is not used often anymore, as she becomes easily nervous and uses it on accident when she does not mean to. It is, however, her more powerful trick.
Secondary Power: Data Manipulation: (http://powerlisting.wikia.com/wiki/Data_Manipulation) A weaker power but nonetheless her more frequently used one. It's a hacking ability, where she can store information in her brain from the computer or make up her own to change the way a computer works.
Strengths: She is good with throwing punches at people. Fall is also quite intelligent, a student who is highly regarded by most teachers. Her knowledge in robotics is useful, being mostly involved in designing parts and tinkering. She can easily hack into the school computers and the security system to get out during curfew. Lastly, she is good at discussing factual, school-related things. Anything about textbooks or about information, she can articulate clearly.
Weaknesses: Well, though Falyn is book smart, she isn't necessarily street smart, where she just doesn't know the things that seem like common knowledge to most. She isn't very social or good at "just talking". Making friends is a little difficult, requiring more effort on the other person's end than her own.
Likes: The IT guy, robotics, science, punching people who deserve it, chocolate. She doesn't outwardly show that she likes anything else really.
Dislikes: The IT guy (it's a little complicated), conversing, history, perverts, Jonathon, dealing with social issues. She doesn't show that she dislikes these things though.

Personality: You have a girl who is quiet and brilliant, often used to studying in silence and working alone, but also someone who is very extremely uncomfortable with people and herself. She can't help but be awkward when around people her age, not very used to conversation or what they call "hanging out". She can even come across as naive and a tad guillible, easily believing others if they promise something. However, when stuck in a situation she is very nervous in, Fall can turn violent, punching the person or thing that is making her feel unsettled. She also can get claustrophobic at times and prefers to have a place to think. This leads to curfew-breaking and other rule-breaking actions, even though it is coming from someone who is expected to be the goody-two-shoes of the school.
History: Her history is not well known by people outside of her household. She came from a middle class family, a family that couldn't possibly be expected to pay for a boarding school. But she was eligible for a full scholarship and took it. But the way she ticks stems from her family relationship and feelings of inadequacy. We don't go into this though.
